95400: Ann Macleod
Ann (1821-1911) was the daughter of George Macleod and Mary Murray of 3 Old Glen Tolsta.
In 1842, when Glen Tolsta was cleared, and the family obtained 31 Old SouthTolsta.
Ann’s father died around 1845.
In 1850 her mother moved the family to 17 Tong.
Ann married George Macdonald, 29 Coll, and the couple settled at 4 Coll. They had six children.
Ann was widowed in 1897.
In due course 4 Coll passed to their eldest son: George. By 1899 George had passed 4 Coll out of the family and settled at 29 Coll; it is not clear if Ann went with him to 29 Coll.
