95398: George Macleod
George Macleod (1801-1845) had lived in Coll Tacks and Portvoller prior to settling as a boundary shepherd at 3 Old Glen Tolsta.
George married Mary Murray, of Steinish, and the couple had nine children: five girls and four boys.
In 1842 Old Glen Tolsta was cleared and the family obtained 31 Old South Tolsta.
In 1850, several years after his death, his widow and children settled at 17 Tong.
