95399: Mary Murray
Mary Murray (1799-1874) lived in Steinish, but its not certain she was born there.
She married George Macleod. The couple settled as boundary shepherds at 3 Old North Tolsta and had nine children: five girls and four boys.
In 1842 Old Glen Tolsta was cleared and the family obtained 31 Old South Tolsta.
Mary was widowed around 1845.
In 1850 she moved her family to 17 Tong, after the previous occupant, Colin Campbell, moved to 16 Tong. When Mary died 17 Tong passed to her son Kenneth.
