George Macleod and Mary Murray were the original tenants of 3 Old Glen Tolsta. They were boundary shepherds between the farms of Gress and Tolsta.
In 1842 all the tenants in Old Glen Tolsta were relocated to Old South Tolsta; in this relocation George and Mary obtained 31 Old South Tolsta.
