Margaret (1828-1898) was a daughter of Donald Nicolson and Ann Mackenzie, 5 Old Gravir.
In Lochs, in 1850, she married Donald Macaskill, 4 Old Gravir at Tumanuadan. Margaret and Donald were Cottars at 4 Old Gravir and in the 1852 Lotting obtained 26 Gravir. The couple had seven children.
Their daughter, Isabella and her husband died young and their three children came to live with their grandparents.
