94033: Barbara Macleod

Barbara (born 1880) was the daughter of John Macleod and Catherine Maciver; it is not clear where the family were living at the time of her birth. Initially her parents settled as cottars on her uncle’s croft: 74 North Tolsta. Later they moved to became cottars on her maternal grandparents croft: 23 Coll.

Barbara died of a contagious disease, probably Tuberculosis, which also killed all of her family except her brother Donald.
