93041: Marion Macrae

Marion (born 1818) was the daughter of Alexander Macrae and Isabella Morrison. Both of her parents had links to Gress Tack, but it is not certain if the family lived there at the time of her birth.

Marion’s mother died in the early 1830s.

In 1832 the family obtained 22 Old North Tolsta.

By 1833 Marion’s father had remarried and had the first of five children with his second wife: Margaret Macdonald.

Marion married Donald Murray, of Cuishader. It is not certain where the couple settled.

In 1854 her father obtained 44 North Tolsta.
