91596: Murdo Maciver
Murdo (1908-1977) was the son of Alex Maciver and Christina Macdonald of 15 North Tolsta.
Murdo married Katie Ann Macleod of 76 North Tolsta and settled with her at 15 North Tolsta. Murdo eventually inherited 15 North Tolsta.
He worked as a postman.
At some point the couple moved to Springfield Road, Stornoway. At this time 15 North Tolsta passed to John Maclean of Islay Cotttage.
Once settled at Springfield Road the couple had four daughters and a son. A daughter and the son are deceased. The son died in a shipboard accident.
