90833: John Maclean

John Maclean, originally from Islay, married Jessie Bella Murray of 2 North Tolsta. The couple settled at Islay Cottage, North Tolsta where they had two children: one boy and one girl.

John Maclean obtained 14 North Tolsta and 15 North Tolsta, which recombined these crofts back to the original 14/15 North Tolsta, and he established Tolsta Dairy; this passed to his son in due course.
