90965: Mary Maciver

Mary (1838-1903) was the daughter of Alexander Maciver and Isabella Maciver of 23 Old South Tolsta.

Mary’s father died in 1845; her mother obtained 14/15 North Tolsta in the 1851 croft relottings and the family moved there. In 1854 the croft was split and the family’s address became 14 North Tolsta. 

Mary married Donald Macleod of 4 North Tolsta and the couple had their first child at an address that is not known.

In 1871 Donald’s grandfather died and 13 North Tolsta was split, Donald inherited 13a North Tolsta. The couple had a further three children at 13a North Tolsta. They had four children in total: three girls and a boy.
