Rachael (1858-1938) was a daughter of John Macinnes and Rachael Macaulay, of 10 Lower Bayble and formerly of 9 Garyvard. The family were living at Upper Bayble at the time of the 1871 Census. They emigrated to Canada, in 1873, and settled in Whitton, Quebec.
At Vermont, United States of America, in 1887 Rachael married Murdo Macaulay, her second cousin, an emigrant from 11 Kershader, Lochs. They settled at Lake Magantic, Quebec and they had eight children. All of the children were born in Canada and at some point the couple moved to 237 Pleasant Street, Walpole, Massachusetts in the United States of America.
