Chirsty, born in 1851, was a daughter of Kenneth and Isabella nee Macfarlane who emigrated from Shader, Lewis to Ontario. She married Donald Macdonald, from 5 Breaclete, another emigrant from Lewis and settled in Southampton, Bruce County. They had five children.
