Margaret Isabel (1895-1968) was a daughter of James Smith and Margaret Maciver, 10 Branahuie. The family later moved to Stornoway.

In 1902 her father and brother, John emigrated to Canada and in 1906 Margaret, her mother, Margaret and her siblings, Donald, Christina and Marion sailed on the SS Mongolian to join them. The family were Homesteaders at Central Butte, Saskatchewan.

In 1953 Margaret married Archibald Taylor Stevenson. At the time of her death they were living at White Rock, British Columbia.
