Christina Smith (1887-1980) was a daughter of James Smith and Margaret Maciver, 10 Branahuie. The family later moved to Stornoway.
In 1902 her father and brother, John emigrated to Canada and in 1906 Christina, her mother, Margaret and her siblings, Donald, Margaret and Marion sailed on the SS Mongolian to join them. The family were Homesteaders at Central Butte, Saskatchewan.
She married Peter Macgregor a farmer and immigrant from Tayside, Scotland. Christina and Peter settled at Central Butte and they had six children.
The family later moved to White Rock, British Columbia and Christina was widowed in 1967.
