116969: Annie Macleod
Annie (1920-1987) was the daughter of Catherine Ann Macleod, of 5 Tong. She was born in Airdrie.
Annie’s mother emigrated to America when she was ten months old; she was raised by her grandparents at 5 Tong.
On the 11th of May 1939 she married Malcolm Murray, a school headmaster. The couple settled at 5 Tong and had two sons.
Annie died in Lewis Hospital.
