Angus Murray and Margaret Maciver were the original tenants of 2 Old Glen Tolsta. They were boundary shepherds between the farms of Gress and Tolsta.
In 1842 all the tenants in Old Glen Tolsta were relocated to Old South Tolsta; in this relocation Angus and Margaret obtained 29a Old South Tolsta.
