Catherine Murray (1876-1947) was the daughter of Allan Murray of 43 Swainbost.

Catherine married Murdo Murray, of 27 North Tolsta, but it is not known where the couple initially settled and had their six children: five girls and one boy.

Sometime between 1913 and 1916 Murdo purchased Seaview, Hill Street, North Tolsta from Alexander Maciver.

Catherine was widowed on the 31st May 1916.

In 1939 her grandson Murdo Allan was born, he lived with his mother at Seaview, and possibly remained there when she later married and moved to Glasgow.

In due course Seaview, North Tolsta passed to her daughter Ann.
