69259: John Maclean

John (born 1884) was the eldest child of Donald Maclean and Catherine Macleod of 3 Doune Carloway. John married Matilda Mackenzie of 4 Calbost. The couple John moved to Glasgow in order to join the City of Glasgow Police. He married Matilda Mackenzie of 4 Calbost; the couple had children. They settled in London where John was employed by the Metropolitan Police. He was remembered as being very tall.

Latterly, John divided his time between three of his daughters, including one who lived in Dumbarton, where John was buried.
