Matilda  (born 1888) was a daughter of Malcolm Mackenzie and Ann Ferguson of 4 Calbost. She and her first cousin, also called Matilda Mackenzie, were named after their paternal grandmother, Matilda Ross MacLeod.

Matilda emigrated to North America but later returned.

At Hillhead, in 1916, she married John Maclean of 3 Doune Carloway. Matilda and John settled in Glasgow and later the family moved to London. 

In 1921 Matilda and her two children were living with her sister, Flora, at 4 Calbost. Latterly, Matilda used a wheelchair.
