26802: Hector Macdonald
Hector, son of John Macdonald and Catherine Mackenzie, 18 Laxay went to South America in 1911 where he worked on the sheep farms. He was in the Falklands from 1913-1916 before returning home. Enlisted in the Seaforths when he arrived in England and served in Mesapotamia. He married Murdina Nicolson, 26 Laxay and settled at 18 Laxay.
