117370: Margaret MacAulay

Margaret was the daughter of Roderick MacAulay of Kyles, North Uist. She married tailor John Bethune of Berneray, with whom she was to have at least four children. Their son Roderick emigrated to Loch Lomond, Cape Breton as a young man. Following her husband’s death Margaret and her three other children emigrated to Loch Lomond in 1848.
