The SS Minnedosa was a 15,00 ton steam liner the hull of which was built by Barclay Curle, Glasgow. It was launched in Glasgow in 1917 and towed to Harland and Wolff in Belfast. The ship was purchased for Canadian Pacific and initially used as a Troopship to bring soldiers home after the First World War.
