Allan (born 1850) was the son of Alexander Murray and Isabella Macdonald of 52 North Tolsta.
Allan married Barbara Macleod, of Shepherds House, Glen Tolsta, and the couple settled as cottars at 52 North Tolsta. They had one child: daughter who died in infancy.
He was a Merchant Seaman and was lost at sea.
