Malcolm (1922-1991) was the son of John Murray and Catherine Macdonald, of 40 North Tolsta.
Malcolm married Dolina Maciver, of 32 Lionel, and the couple settled at 40 North Tolsta: which passed to Malcolm in due course. They had five children: two girls and three boys.
Their youngest son, Donald, settled on a feued off section of 40 North Tolsta: 40a North Tolsta.
In due course 40 North Tolsta passed to their eldest son.
