92780: Alexander Macmillan
Alexander (1886-1961) was the son of Donald Macmillan and Mary Matheson, of 4 Glen Tolsta.
In 1884, 3 Glen Tolsta was merged with 4 Glen Tolsta giving the occupants a new address of 3/4 North Tolsta.
Alexander and his brothers Angus and Hector all obtained crofts in Gress, in 1922. Alexander obtained 46 Gress.
Alexander married Annabella Maciver, of 38 North Tolsta, and the couple had five children: three boys and two girls.
At some point the family moved to 35 Coll. In due course 35 Coll passed to their son, Alexander John.
