92739: John Gunn

John (1902-1976) was the son of William Gunn and Mary Murray; it is not clear where the family were living at the time of his birth. His paternal grandparents were living at 43 North Tolsta and his maternal grandparents were living at 52 North Tolsta, so it is possible the family were cottars on one of those crofts.

At some point during his childhood 70 North Tolsta passed to his father, from his great uncle and aunt, and the family settled there.

John married Margaret Mackenzie, of 37 North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 70 North Tolsta. They had six children: three boys and three girls. In due course 70 North Tolsta passed to their son, Kenneth.
