92171: Angus Maciver

Angus (born 1878) was the son of Angus Maciver and Isabella Maciver; the family were cottars at 25 North Tolsta.

Angus emigrated to New Zealand.

Angus became a Lance-Corporal in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force; he was injured while serving at Gallipoli and later died in hospital in Dunedin. More information can be found at the North Tolsta World War One website. 

The battle of Gallipoli ended in 1916, but no date of death is recorded for Angus, it is unclear how long he was in hospital before he died.
