John was the son of John Campbell and Gormelia Murray of 19b North Tolsta.
John never married.
John purchased 19c North Tolsta from Murdo Murray; he also inherited both 19a North Tolsta and 19b North Tolsta from his father. This allowed John to recombined the three crofts back into 19 North Tolsta.
In due course 19 North Tolsta passed to his niece, Mary: the eldest daughter of Annabella Campbell.
