70340: Margaret MacAskill

Margaret, more usually Maggie, was born in 1878, the daughter of Peter MacAskill and Ann MacAskill. Presumably she was born on 7 Ruisgarry (Lag a’Chealla); her father was passed one third of the croft, 7/1 Ruisgarry in 1887, and later 6 Ruisgarry.

Maggie became a domestic servant, marrying Dugald MacKenzie of 5 Finsbay in 1906, which is presumably where the couple moved, though their son John was born at Lag a’Chealla later in 1906. Maggie died in 1907.
