Mary (born 1874) was a daughter of John Macleod and Ann Mackenzie, 31 Crossbost.

At Fraserburgh, in 1893, she married Norman Matheson, 25 Gravir. Mary and Norman settled at 25 Gravir and they had two children.

Mary was widowed in 1895 and moved to Pringle's Court, Stornoway.

At Stornoway, in 1900, she  married Murdo Kennedy, 14 Arivruach. Mary and Murdo settled at 74 Balallan and they had a son, Donald.
