5257: Lilly Macaulay

Lily Macaulay (1811-1887), daughter of Donald Macaulay and Catherine Morrison, Linshader, Uig, married Robert Finlayson who was Minister at Keose prior to the Disruption of 1843. They had five of a family, two of whom, Donald (aged 16) and Robert (aged 13) died in a boating accident in Loch Erisort on 19 July 1849.

She is alleged to have been a relative of the notorious Mac an t-Stronaich
