Roderick (1908-2002) was a son of Murdo Macleod and Catherine Macarthur, 26 Cromore. He emigrated to the United States of America on 26 January 1929 on the SS Transyvania.
In New York, in 1935, he married Johanna Macphail, New York formerly of 16 Gravir. Roderick and Johanna settled at 122 East 116th Street, New York and they had at least two children.
The family had moved to 201 East 95th Street, New York by 1939 and later moved to New Jersey.
Roderick died in New Jersey aged 94.
