Donald (1883-1967) was a son of Alexander Macleod and Margaret Macleod, 11 Cromore.
At Anderston, Glasgow, in 1907, he married Margaret Macrae, 56 Leurbost. Donald and Margaret settled at 11 Cromore and they had nine children.
The family moved to Hillside House, Caros, Cromore in the 1930s.
Donald was widowed in 1947.
