4219: Christina Gillies
Christina (1830-1858) was the daughter of Angus Gillies and Margaret Smith of Bosta.
In 1858 Christina married John Macaulay, of Croir, and the couple settled in Bosta. She died in childbirth with her third child.
After her death her widower remarried and in 1878, when Bosta was abandoned, settled with his new wife and children at 2 Kirkibost; at least one of Christina’s children settled with her widower’s parents after her death.
