Iain Iain Alasdair

John  (1894-1914) was a  son of John Campbell and Mary Matheson, 18a Gravir.

He served in the First World War with the 1st Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders Service Number 3/7159. John was killed in action aged 19 and his name is commemorated on Le Touret Memorial, Pairc War Memorial, the Lewis War Memorial, Stornoway and he is mentioned in Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-1918.
