Catherine (born 1827) was a daughter of John Macdonald and Effie Macrae, 8 Old Orinsay.
Orinsay was cleared in 1843 and the family were removed to 16 Crossbost.
In Lochs, in 1852, she married Angus Mackay, 7 Achmore. Catherine and Angus settled at 17 Achmore and they had six children.
