Donald Macleod (1836-1909) was a son of Murdo Macleod and Isabella Macdonald, 14 Keose.
The family moved to 3 Old Orinsay c1840.
Old Orinsay was cleared in 1843 and the family were removed to 8 Crossbost.
He married Effie Graham of 23 Garrabost, Point in 1867 and they lived in Stornoway.
