Duncan Macleod (born 1911) was a son of John Macleod and Christina Macleod, 1 Calbost .
On February 12, 1937 he enrolled with the Royal Naval Reserve Service Number AX19217. From 1937-1938 he worked on Stornoway registered fishing boats the True Love, the Excel and the Starlight Rays. Duncan was Mobilised on December 29, 1938 and was declared Physically Unfit for Naval Service (PUNS) in March 1939.
During the Second World War Duncan served with the Merchant Navy. His name is mentioned in Roll of Honour: Pairc, Second World War.
Duncan later emigrated to New Zealand.
