Margaret Macrae (1869-1956) was a daughter of John Macrae and Betsy Mackinnon, 1 Caverstay. The family also lived at 6 Torostay before moving to outside 4 Keose around 1882. She married Malcolm Buchanan, 14b Brenish, Uig and they resided in Stornoway.
