Mary (1838-1904) was a daughter of Alexander Mackenzie and Margaret Macarthur, 8 Old Lemreway.
The village was cleared in 1843 and the family were moved to Croft No. 26 Crossbost.
In 1860 she married Duncan Mackenzie, 15 Crossbost. Mary and Duncan settled at 7 Habost and they had ten children.
