Donald John (born 1919) was a son of John Macleod and Murdina Macleod, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. The couple were from Lochs, Isle of Lewis.
His mother died shortly after his birth and his Aunt Isabella from Calgary came for him and he was brought up with her family.
