Catherine (born 1908) was a daughter of Donald Macleod and Mary Morrison, 7 Geocrab, Harris. Some time after 1924 the family moved to 21 Portnalong, Isle of Skye.

At Dumfries, in 1944, she married Hector Mackay, 4 Geocrab. Catherine and Hector settled in Glasgow and they had one child.
