Malcolm (1822-1887) was a son of Murdo Maclean and Ann Mackay, North Bragar. The family emigrated to Canada and settled at Compton, Quebec.
He married Catherine Maclennan formerly of 33 Valtos. Malcolm and Catherine settled at Compton and they had six children.
