Duncan (born 1899) was a son of Allan Carsewell and Annie Murchison, Bonhill, Dunbartonshire.
He emigrated to Canada on 23 August 1923 and emigrated to the United States of America. He lived at 10707 6th Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio in 1927 when he married Margaret Ann Macaskill, Toronto and formerly of Lake House, Gravir.
Duncan and Margaret Ann settled in Chicago and they had three children.
