Aonghas Alasdair Iain

Angus  (1896-1928) was a son of Alexander Campbell and Margaret Morrison, 10 James Street, Stornoway

On 20th September 1915, he enrolled in the Royal Naval Reserve Service Number DA8709. His record indicates that he was 5ft 7in tall with sallow skin and blue eyes. Angus was immediately mobilised and served on HMS Iolaire throughout the First World War. His name is mentioned in Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-1918.

At 11 Builnacraig Street, Stornoway, in 1919, he married Mary Ann Nicolson, 11 Builnacraig Street, Stornoway. Angus and Mary Ann settled at Stornoway.

Angus died aged 32.
