Farquhar (born 1851) was a son of Farquhar Smith and Catherine Montgomery, 24 Old Leurbost. In the 1853 lotting the family obtained 49 Gravir.
In Lochs, in 1877, he married Janet Nicolson, 7 Gravir. The couple settled in Stornoway.
