Gavin Ralston Stevenson (born 1853) was a son of Robert Hugh Stevenson and Elizabeth Ralston, Ayrshire.
At Latheron, in 1878, he married Jessie Hymers, Latheron. Gavin and Jessie settled at Dreghorn and they had at least two children.
Their son, Hugh emigrated to the United States of America in 1906 and the family moved two years later.
