John (1893-1982) was a son of Kenneth Macleod and Ann Nicolson of 20 New Shawbost. John married Christina Ann Gillies of 19 North Shawbost. The couple settled at 19 North Shawbost and had eight children. The tenancy of 19 North Shawbost passed to John, and subsequently to John and Christina’s son Kenneth.
