Alexander Morrison (1829-1903) was a son of George Morrison and Mary Maclennan, 14 Old Lemreway.
The village was cleared in 1843 and the family were moved to 57 Leurbost.
In Lochs, in 1856, he married Catherine Martin, 43 Leurbost. Alexander and Catherine settled at 43 Leurbost and they had seven children.
