115480: Christina Beaton
Christina (1799-1864) was the daughter of Alexander Beaton and Catherine Macleod; it is not known where the family were living at the time of her birth. There are no records of Beatons in Back Tack before 1833, but records are sparse.
She married Neil Murray and the couple raised six children at an unknown location. The first was born in 1816 and the last in 1832.
In 1833 her parents obtained 25 Old Back as a newly lotted croft.
She was widowed in 1845. At some point after this 25 Old Back passed to her.
In the 1851 croft relottings she obtained 18/19 Back. She divided this with her son-in-law, Angus Mackay, retaining 18 Back and he got 19 Back.
